On the morning of December 8, the signing ceremony of "china-canada VIDO nanjing vaccine research institute" project memorandum of understanding was held at the exhibition hall of nanjing international health city public health science and innovation center. The memorandum of understanding by the university of Saskatchewan, Canada, VIDO - InterVac, nanjing agricultural university, nanjing jiangbei district management committee, signed three parties, aims to build the world's leading precision vaccine research and development team, the introduction of VIDO - InterVac r&d management and achievements transformation mode, active docking two city center of nanjing jiangbei district strategic layout, will add VIDO nanjing "vaccine" to forge a global and China market demand oriented to first-class research institutions, Provide scientific and technological support and solutions for China's public health, biological safety and food security.
Vido-intervac vaccine research institute is a world-renowned vaccine research and transformation institution affiliated with the university of Saskatchewan, Canada. On April 20, 2018, our university and the university of Saskatchewan signed a memorandum of understanding on inter-school cooperation, and reached a preliminary intention to jointly build "china-canada VIDO nanjing vaccine research institute" in jiangbei new district. Nanjing jiangbei new district is the 13th national new district and the only national new district in jiangsu province officially approved and established by the state council on June 27, 2015. Jiangbei new district of nanjing focuses on building "two cities and one center", namely "chip city", "gene city" and "new financial center".
